The Legacy of Rikhiram

Pandit Rikhiram, one of India’s best known Musical Instrument creator, was a great musician, an innovator and perfectionist.
This legacy has been carried over by his son, Pandit Bishan Dass Sharma (1929-2007). The torch bearer of the current generation is Sanjay Rikhiram Sharma, with the same vision, passion, and deep understanding of the art for creating, manufacturing and repairing musical instruments. Today, these instruments are hand-crafted as well as prepared by incorporating modern techniques. From all over the world, the Maestros of Indian music have laid their trust on this name.
